Having worked with Nationwide Group Staff Union since 2007, we were proud to assist again with this year’s event which was held over 3 days at the Leicester Marriott Hotel, this was along side the launch of Nationwide’s new corporate branding. The event was attended by over 200 delegates, with their AGM taking place on the first day with the second day being used for Staff Union matters. This year also saw the introduction of a 3^rd day where Nationwide Managers from the retail division informing NGSU members about the major rebranding that is taking place across the country with a new look for their banking app, social media platforms, and in letters and emails. Sustainability was a major consideration during their rebranding process and is being carried out in an environmentally responsible way. All new banking cards are now made up of 85.5% recycled plastic with 100% recycled plastic on the horizon. Nationwide also stated that they will be using up existing stocks of cards and letter headed paper before introducing the new branding.
